God talks to us only in our true identity and says, “Rise up as my leaders in a darken and fragmented world.”

The Shepherd – the role instituted by God to care for the sheep. The one anointed to teach, instruct, love, protect, cherish and lead. The role of a pastor is that of a General tasked with caring and leading his people into the pathways God created for them to walk.
The role of the shepherd in changing the culture for life is probably one of the most powerful positions on this earth in bringing about God’s plan to value Image-Bears of God. A pastor sets the tone for his church, determines what is most important, is the mouthpiece of Scripture to the corporate body. Church leadership has the greatest opportunity of our day in creating a culture of life in our world. With 40% of women and 50% of men active in church during the month they chose abortion, your voice can bring life. If we can stop abortion in our churches and bring healing to the women and men who have experienced it, we will stop abortion in our country.
Pastors carry many responsibilities and the weight they bear can seem overwhelming at times. There are so many things on your plate and so many “top priority projects” that are brought to your attention. We know how overwhelming it all can be.
Creating a culture for life in your church can simply begin with incorporating life-affirming points in your sermons. It can also be sharing about resources to help those fearful of an unwanted pregnancy or those struggling with a past abortion decision. Perhaps, it’s inviting a guest speaker to address the issue in a holistic, grace-filled manner.
And we’re here to help. Life Tribe exists to help your church create a culture of life and we’re here to lighten the load. We have message ideas, resources, as well as provide training and strategy to start a life-affirming ministry at your church. Please click HERE for more information.
You are the leaders in this fragmented world and you carry the answers for healing and wholeness. We appreciate you, pray for you and are grateful for your service to God and others.
