Special Forces. A highly trained, chosen group of people operating behind enemy lines. They are skilled to free hostages, defend against terrorism and insurgency and use unconventional methods to maintain freedom.
Special Forces undergo severe and intense training and come out on the other side stronger, wiser and willing to go to the most uncomfortable places and put their lives on the line to free others.
Every church needs a Special Forces team. There are those in your congregation who have been called to such an assignment. You may not know who they are … yet, they are there. This Special Forces team are the ones who have been called to bring God’s healing power to those in need at your church. They have the special ability to reach those that few can. Who are these heroes?
They are those who have been wholly healed from a past abortion!
When men and women receive God’s healing power from their past abortion, they will be one of the most powerful forces which cannot be stopped!
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.“
Revelation 12:10-11a
Some of the greatest strategies of the enemy are shame and guilt. These two things will keep individuals bound until they receive God’s salvation and walk in His grace which covers all sin, receiving His power and authority to overcome the evil one. When the enemy tries to keep individuals bound, they can defeat him by the power of the cross and speak forth their story of how Christ has saved, healed and delivered.
You can never refute someone’s personal story. When individuals walk in their new identity of wholeness, redemption and righteousness, nothing will be able to stop them. They will shout from the rooftops the life and freedom they have received from God.
How can you bring radical revival to your church? You help those who have experienced the pain of a past abortion find forgiveness and wholeness in Christ; and, just watch what happens as you release them to be His messengers of good news.
Their testimony will be irrefutable and their tenacity to rescue those in captivity will be matched by few.
This Special Forces teams will:
- rescue hostages who are bound by their past.
- perform counterterrorist maneuvers to cease the sabotage of the enemy’s lies over people’s lives.
- go where it’s uncomfortable and do the hard work of journeying through life with those who believe they have committed the unforgiveable sin.
- so believe in the power of God for transformation that they will stop at nothing to bring freedom, redemption, hope, and healing.
